Today was a busy day for us! After a big sleep in until 9am, Ben and I got ready and met up with my girlfriend and Ben's 2 girlfriends at the library. We just got a new library a few months ago and this was the first time we have been - I should have brought my camera because it was beautiful in there!
Ben took out a few books and a DVD and then we went for lunch. On our way home, we stopped at the grocery store and picked up some groceries for dinner. I wanted to try a new recipe from a new cook book I bought the other day. My girlfriend's husband had it when we were in Fairmont over New Year's and it looked so good, so I ran out and got a copy for myself!
So far we are 1 for 1.....the stew I made tonight was delicious!!
This was Ben watching his Franklin the Turtle DVD that he picked out from the library. He sat and watched it while I got dinner ready. I love how he has his legs crossed...he cracks me up!
This was the stew I made tonight. It was so yummy - I definitely think it had something to do with the 1/2 bottle of red wine that went into it! ;)
Mine looks really watery in the photo, but I took the liquid out right at the end, mixed in some flour and poured it back in and it was great!
We stopped by Granny and Boompa's tonight while Dave was out playing poker and Ben found a huge sucker there. Granny and him decided to have a taste.....mmmm!
Your photo of your stew cooking on the stove looks like it came right out of a cooking magazine... very nice. Your backsplash photographs very well. (and the stew smelled great!!!!)
