Today is the beginning of Birthday Madness around here! I have 2 parties for Ben or organize and 4 days before the first one starts. My girlfriend Paulette and I are putting on a combined 3rd Birthday Party for Ben, Taylor and Emmerson at the Kinsmen Leisure Centre Mini Gym here in Sherwood Park. It is a Dora and Boots Theme. Ben and the girls love Dora and I thought this would probably be the last year that Ben would like it, so we went with it!

His family Birthday is a Hockey theme and it is the following night and then his real birthday is the day after....! When all is said and done, I will have a 3 year old! It makes me so sad to know that he is getting bigger and bigger and that there is nothing I can do to stop it! I am so proud of the good boy that he has become, but sad at the same time at the things he is now doing on his own...it always makes me think of this book...and when I think too long, I have to stop or else I get all teary!
