Mr. B is 3!!
I can't believe that this day is here already!! My little Baby Boy is 3! I know I have already said this all alot, but today is a day filled with such mixed emotions! I can still remember like it was yesterday:
-my water breaking in the middle of the night
-how, when it was time for me to start pushing, I told my mom that didn't want to push and I just wanted everything to stop
-the second I held my little boy - it was such a miracle and instantly I fell deeply in love
-when his little piece of umbilical cord fell off and I cried, my baby was growing so fast - Dave still thought I was crazy crying over that, but to me, that meant he was getting bigger already
-his first real smile
-his first tooth
-his many "first"
-the first time he said "l love you mama"
-our first family trip to Fairmont
-his first day of Pre-preschool (unparented)
The list goes on and on and just gets better and better! Now, I love hearing "you are the best mom in the world" and "I love you sooo much mama" I love that he is getting so independant, smart and thoughtful, but hate that he cannot fit in my arms anymore!
Happy Birthday little one! (and now I'm crying!) ;)
xo
B spent his special day with his special girlies, Taylor and Emmerson. He invited himself over for lunch (I felt bad, so I brought the food!) ;)
the 3 of them listening to Paulette and I sing Happy Birthday in our best voices...
blowing out the candles
we took Ben (and granny and boompa) out for B's birthday dinner to Boston Pizza - his choice. They came singing and he got so scared, he hid and then started to cry...
what would a birthday be without SKATING!!??

ReplyDeleteLove that little man, and all of you so much. xxoo
I totally hear you Erin! It's so hard to see these little kids grow so quickly...and at the same time there is nothing more exciting than seeing them change. It's so hard :) He is a little sweetie!
ReplyDeleteOh how Ben has changed....from such a sweet little peanut to such a sweet little boy! I sure love that little guy too!!! - Auntie Carrie
