Tonight is my child-free Tuesday and boy did I take advantage of it!!! Ben goes to my mom and dad's house for a sleep over every Tuesday night because I work Wednesdays and my mom babysits Ben. So its easier to just let him sleep over the night before, rather than have to get up early and rush over there.

Anyway, I got myself into a big mess in the kitchen working on Mr. B's Valentine treats for our family and his friends. What started out as a easy project (in my mind), turned into a 5 hours long assembly line! Don't get me wrong - I had so much fun being crafty in the kitchen!!! I love to just forget about work, kids, hubbies, life every once in a while and do what I love to do, so tonight was great!!! I finally finished up around 2am and then cleaned up my mess of a kitchen and went to bed.
I am sooo excited to show everyone the finished product, but for now I will post some of the "pre" photos.....love it!

The ingredients....

Some cutie little clips I found at Michaels - perfect for this project!!

2 yummy chocolate cakes, crumbled up and in my gorgeous new Curtis Stone mixing bowls. These beauties were a Christmas present from Dave. I had mentioned them once while we were watching the Biggest Loser and he remembered and ordered them for me...they are seriously the best bowls ever!! I love cooking even more when I have fun stuff to use. Its bad, but it makes me feel so happy baking and cooking when I have nice, fun tools and bowls. I can pretend that I am just like on TV, where they have everything in nice, crisp white or glass dishes - lame I know....I've probably said too much, so moving on....

Here is the start of my treats....the only part I will share tonight is that they are hearts ;).....

And some of them will be pink.... ;)
