We were over at Granny and Boompa's tonight for dinner and Ben was showing off his knowledge of the NHL hockey teams. He is such a smart boy! Gram and Grandad gave him some hockey books for Christmas and one of them has all of the NHL teams. We read it about 3 times and on the third time, he had them all memorized! Dave and I were shocked and just started laughing because he had really only read the book 3 times!!! Some of the teams he gets mixed up, but most he has got right! He loves his hockey that little guy!

After that, we finished watching the Junior Gold Medal game. It was sad to see Canada lose, but it was so nice to see Russia win! Those boys were soooo excited! It was cute to watch them scream into the camera!! I know Dave would roll his eyes because I used the words "cute" and "hockey" together... I don't think they had won a medal since 2003, so it was nice for the underdogs to win one! (does that make me less "canadian"?) ;)
